He’s the exact type of prop we needed, destructive and one of the best front rowers in the world when he’s on his game. That’s another team with a front row far and out more powerful than ours

I think he was a destructive prop, I am not sure that he is now. He look shot last season in the NRL, I suppose we will just have to see how he performs this season to make a proper judgment. I am not in favour of signing players aged 30+ when they have done the rounds in Australia.

Yeah I get that, hopefully I’ll be shown to be wrong and we’ve benefitted from giving him a wide birth (if we ever considered him at all)

Andrew Fifita could be a great signing for Wakey, if he clicks playing alongside his brother and they both drive each other on they could be the best 8 and 10 in the comp but if they go the other way it could be a disaster. David has already had disciplinary issues and I thought his time at Wakey was up this off-season, Andrew has also had plenty of issues in Oz and looked a shadow of himself last year, I’d be exited if I was a Wakey fan but also have it in the back of my mind that it could end up in disaster.

I'll probably get flak for this but two props like that isn't what I'd want in this new era of six agains, no scrums and ever-reducing changes. I can see them spending a lot of time chasing after the game in defence.

As has been said, this could go either way - world beaters or disastrous signings. Personally (and it might come back to bite me), I think we're best clear of him.
