As others have pointed out there's plenty of options and a real good mix of quality and future potential at 2nd row. Isa might get a 12 month extension, but he'll be 33 by then and I'm sure it will be under a caveat of reduced game time. Much like Tommy this year I guess.
Guys like Smithies and Partington will probably be asked to rotate for 12 more months and then will fight it out for a starting spot. Much like Smith & Field will have to.
I can’t see Isa leaving anytime soon unless he wants to go back down under to live (although his partner plays pro football here so that’s unlikely). He is as fit as a fiddle, he’s durable and seems to avoid injuries (touch Wood), he’s hugely popular in the dressing room from what you see and hear and he’s versatile. Every coach we’ve had whilst he’s been here has loved him and you can see why. I think they’ll extend his deal for at least another year or two and rightfully so IMO.
