I'm not saying we won't bring anyone in, I'm not saying we should or shouldn't, but simply saying players have left/retired so we must have money is far too overly simple.

Most of those decisions would have been made 4/5/6 months ago (I knew Flower was going around Beginning of OCT so it must have been planned way before then for example) and as such plans on who we could bring in or increase wages for retained players (Remember the likes of Havard resigning on improved deals) would have been made far earlier than anyone imagines or gives credit to the club for.

I'll say it again - the vast majority of what is possible will already have happened, Burgess wages and what we could do with them under the cap will have been factored in 3-4 months ago

Panicked when I saw mention of Havard resigning then, that missing hyphen is important!

I'm not usually keen on overseas signings of this age. However this could be "fun". He sounds like a bit of a free spirit, DJ etc and that haircut!!
The last one I remember being like that was Kerry Hemsley.

He could be fun on King Street.

So he could be one thing or the other, a great astute signing or a plonker? As I said previously he was the best prop on the field v GB just over a year ago, but GB were awful that day and indeed for all that tour.

Honestly could not say why he has not played more NRL. With how crap the Queensland teams have been the last few years I am surprised none of them gave him a go. As a prop he is better with ball in hand than he is in defence.

Warrington have released Ratu from his contract. I hope the powers that be don’t even consider that option to get another prop in - that would be a panic buy!
