Isa isn’t a prop, Isa is a workhorse second row. A very good one in my opinion.

I appreciate you have a tendency to name players in strange positions but if you were hoping for our Props next year to be Bullock, Singleton, Isa and Harvard supported by a bunch of kids then I’d like a pint of what you are on.

So this guy has 1 NRL game and a load of bush league and counts as seasoned. Bullock has 40 SL games, over 100 Championship games and isn't seasoned? That is rocket science aye. I'll ignore the dig because I normally respect and look forward to your posts.

It wasn’t a dig it was what you suggested.

It’s a standard reaction to a lad who isn’t a big name. Writing him off because he hasn’t been heard of.

Bullock is a project signing and one that at the moment looks to be coming good however I don’t class him as a seasoned Prop no.

If he signs it may not be met with the fanfare we had for Burgess, but at this time of the season quality NRL props are going to be as rare as hens teeth.

We lacked food forward and impact last year. Page will give you that, he will also give you a quick play the ball and good minutes. All things we missed last year from our Props at times.

Those doubting him will soon grow to enjoy how he plays and what he would bring to the team should he be confirmed.

Will leave it there as he hasn’t even signed as yet.

Do you watch a lot of semi pro Ozzie rugby? I think everyone will get behind him, it’s just maybe a little underwhelming after we have shipped out a marquee prop along with other high earning props and could possibly be replacing with a bloke who’s played 1 professional game of rugby but didn’t it take Carmont until he was 28 to crack into the NRL? He didn’t turn out too bad for us.

Why all this obsession of getting a Prop when apart from the fact that there a number of Props in the squad, we need to get a top class winger who is better than either Manfredi and Marshall.

Wigan has always been known for having top class wingers !

In an ideal world (which this isnt and this isnt going to happen) the following would be done preseason.

Burgess gone (sorry GB but we cant carry you).
Clarke gone
Clubb gone

So one down 2 to go.

I assume there has to be a hit to the SC in the deal for GB to go, so I doubt right now we have the cap space for another marquee.

If we shift Clubb and Clarke then we might be able to get someone else but with what I guess we have we need someone with go forward and if Lam thinks this is the guy then so be it. I know its a minute of footage and its a few years back, but in that minute I saw exactly what we miss at Wigan at the moment.

Whether this guy can do it, I dont know, but if that's what he does he's what we need on lower money.

As for wingers, we all want top wingers, but assuming Marshall and Manfredi get back to their best we have 2 top class wingers and a third would not be good use of the cap.

Remember, no props no pots. Or to be more exact, no props with go forward no pots.

Seems to have gone a bit quiet on the Mitch Clark front and he's pictured in several pictures training with the squad. Could well be staying after all.

I’ve seen a few posts on here saying they are not impressed with the link to Page, because he hasn’t been an NRL regular.

I’m of the opinion his style will suit SL very well particularly under the new rules and if he does sign I trust Lam who will know him very well and my own judgement of his positive attributes over those who are not impressed because they have never heard of him.

If he signs time will tell who is right.

Outside of Singleton (and Clubb) we don’t have another finished article Prop.
