Cameron Smith said something similar on his podcast. He said he'd spoken to a few people at the Raiders about Williams and heard nothing but good things.

He was my favourite player when he was at Wigan. Just never gave less than 100% in attack and defence and was one of the few players that when he had the ball anything could happen. Kept himself to himself on and off the pitch, just got the job done very well.

Liam Farrell has been on great form but Hastings hasn't been able to unlock that left edge like Williams did (even when Gildart and Burgess were there).

Him and Lomax are so far ahead of other English halves it's not even worth a talking about including anyone else, e.g. Widdop, Hastings.

Just read that article and wow...... It looks like somebody is very sensitive and likes to twist other peoples words to make himself look good...... This guy Mr hooper.....I didn't even put a capital letter at the beginning of his name as he's not a man and doesn't deserve that respect...... He just upset for no reason and isn't taking George Williams feelings nor his partners feelings in any sort of perspective at all...... George will be walking away from more money than he can realistically earn here for personal reasons....... Mr hooper why don't you come and try and be a rugby pundit over here? We've got some that are also disagreeable but you take the biscuit. You are not a pundit, you are just mean for no reason and can not back up what you've said..... You're a disgrace to Fox, but more importantly you are just a nasty person. It's ok to have a view but when you lack any respect to any fellow human and their feelings, then you are the lowest of the low.

Noticed he’s asked Agar and it sounds like Leeds have been told Williams wants to be back in the North West and has said they’re pretty much out of the picture unless that changes.

Ive just finally got round to watching the 360 show. Basically in a nutshell, it was Hooper saying "mental health is something we should take seriously" then spends the next 20 minutes with Kent saying "man up and see out your contract". Pair of whoppers.

Everytime the woman on there, (Lana something?) tried to point out their wrong doings they just shouted over her and at her.

Was cringe!

Reading comments from all the Canbera fans on reddit, it seems they are firmly in the george williams camp. On a side note, according to their fans on reddit, Rushton is absolutely killing it in reserve grade over there. They all seem to want him in the first team ASAP.
