I can’t see Leeds bringing in Clubb. I can’t even see Leigh wanting him. For what he offers it just isn’t worth the time or effort.
Some have been saying that O'Loughlin was not offering very much during last season, but did not resort to any personal comments about him like some we have seen on this and the other local rugby league website. ' Yes, Clubb is near the end of career with Wigan, but should be treated with respect and not averse negative comments.

comparing Clubb to Lockers?....really? 5 year older Lockers?

I think all he is trying to say is we dont knock SOL (nor should we), even though he did little minutes/games towards the end. So why are we knocking Clubb when he gave us some great games during his time.
Clubb has not been great for us for some time due to mileage, injuries and age (and I think carrying too much weight), but he did us proud and although I am one who is happy if he goes, no need to slate the man.
Let's be honest if Wigan offered him a two year contract 12 months ago, its not Tony's fault he signed it is it !

plenty of people did knock lockers, in fact over his very long period im sure he has been the most criticised player we have ever had. Clubb has never been good just a plodder, a poor mans Ben Flower/Gil Dudson
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.

Give over. Clubb is well past his best and Leeds would be daft to offer him two years. However, at his peak he was a very good player to have on the field. Highlights include the defensive set that pretty much won us the derby a few years ago, the run of form he hit after he came back from his kidney problems, I also remember him showing up well in one of the WCCs but can't remember which year it was. Oh and his 'try' against Leeds

Agreed, as I said above. No need to tank the man for the late years (when we offered him a 2 year contract!!!). Over the time he was with us he did a good job.
Its also worth remembering he has had at least two pretty nasty injuries as well which must have taken their toll.
Was he the greatest ever Wigan prop - no. Was he for the main part of his time with us an asset - yes.

Been at wigan 6 seasons yet you picked up 2 good games, the try v Leeds was a knock on so couldnt even do that right, Navarette played more good games than Clubb as we played Catalans a few times in his 3 years. Clubb used to come into his own when he hit small players.

1. Lockers was playing very well up until his freak eye injury last season.
2. You obviously missed personal agenda Whiffy Kippers posts.
