Obviously within a prop they have to be a frontline player who is going to be in the 17 each week if fit.

The other area we may look at I suspect would be outside back and I think a project signing there would be fine.

Yeah, I am meaning prop, no point having someone like Clark or Clubb holding up the progression of our youngsters, leave the cap space and if we have an injury crisis at prop then look to bring in someone to make up the numbers.
An outside back to be signed as back up/project I am more than happy with though, a Bibby MKII as we look thin on numbers with nobody really standing out in the juniors coming through.

Apparently Leeds are looking to bring in Clubb. Only heard it from one of their supporters but he usually has his ear to the ground. With the expected medical retirement of Burgess and potentially Clarke moving on id like to think that gives us some serious wiggle room a good solid Prop. .... Not that there are many around that are available which is more of a worry?

Is there an expected medical retirement for Burgess? I certainely haven't seen anything that suggests that.

For the life of me, I can't see what Clubb would offer Leeds? Have they not just signed another prop too?

Is it late in the day to bring in a prop? We brought Singleton in mid-season and it worked wonders, never mind just as pre-season is starting up.

If true I would guess it’s more about having an experienced forward to help bring on the younger players at Leeds off the field as much as on it.

Better late than never regarding the timing.
