I got the `rumour` from a normally very reliable source, I didn,t know JR had been spotted at 2 games and was asking a genuine question!!

You'll look an idiot now if he does sign
Remember Lenegan said they were adding more people to the backroom staff

Well, it'll not be the first time I have been made to look an idiot on these forums

Heard a rumour that Jason is back at Wigan on the coaching staff on a part time basis? Just a rumour in the pub or anyone know if its true? Comments?
Aye. I heard something similar. I heard that Ian Gildart is making a return at prop. He was at the game too.

Indeed this is true, but Brian is thinking of switching him to Fullback for the Cas match.

sounds like an advert to join a rugby union team!

1 Roberts/Richards
2 Ainscough
3 Sonny Bill Williams
4Carmont
5 Richards/Roberts
6 (New SO)
7 Smith then Tomkins
8 Fielden
9 LuLu
10 Prescott
11 Hansen
12 Lockers
13 J Tomkins
14 Feka
15 Hock
16 Riddell
17 Goulding
18 Pryce
19 O Barrell
20 S Tomkins (/next to Smith.
With this sell: Bailey, Phelps, Mathers, Coley +20k we already have enough for an unhappy Sonny Bill and a new S/O.
Also send out McClorum on load and maybe one or two other young lads, get them some experience and free up more cap space.
Surely this isn't too unrealistic!
Thoughts?

I don't think even that would give us enough for Sonny Bill. He's on astonomical money in Union. Plus, we'd have to find sufficient takers for all those you nominate. I suspect we could unload a couple, but not all of them at the same time. And even if we did, we'd be weakening our squad numerically at a time when we're probably stronger in terms of numbers than we've been since the start of SL.
I see where you're coming from, but unfortunately I think it's a non-starter. I doubt we'll ever see SBW in RL again. French RU has got a lot more cash than sense.

SBW is unhappy in RU and wants out. So where is he to go?
NRL won't touch him, so SL is an option. Hull are already sniffing around, I just hope we are too.
Losing the likes of Coley,Phelps, Bailey, Mathers would simply allow others to have a crack at the big time.
