Then his effort to get back for this game is stuff of legend.

As has been mentioned he’s having a Lockers like effect of lifting the team.

12 years at the club from an overseas player has to be nearly a club record ?

And a World Cup winner whilst at the club! Not too many English clubs would've been able to say that in recent decades.

If he did the same at any other club, they wouldn't even have to think twice. It's only because of the embarrassment of riches that we had in the 80s and 90s that we hesitate in saying he's a club legend.

Incredible when you think back to his signing in 2007 - completely overshadowed by the Trent Barrett signing and I doubt anyone could have guessed what a run he would have.
