21-man squad named for Saturday’s Betfred Super League game against Catalans.
Head Coach Matt Peet has named his squad for the Warriors second outing in France.
Catalans Dragons v Wigan Warriors, Saturday 12th March, 5:30pm GMT K.O.
Matt Peet has named his 21-player Wigan Warriors squad for Saturday’s Betfred Super League game against Catalans Dragons.
The Warriors prepare for Round 5 of the Betfred Super League and the second of their two outings in France. Wigan face Catalans Dragons at Stade Gilbert Brutus this coming Saturday 12th March.

Bibby, Isa and Leuluai will come back in you’d imagine. I’d give O’Neill a bench spot for this one. I just feel like Partington’s bench spot has been a bit of a waste recently and we can get more from carrying a lad like O’Neill, who can give Powell a rest.

Agree with Partington, his 20 minute spells aren’t really contributing.

Even Shorrocks would be a better option as he is more versatile than Partington.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Bibby reverts to right wing with Zak left centre given Peets comments.

He did mention people swapping sides, so you could be right but he’ll also shift Cust and Marshall back over to the left hand side.

I think Shorrocks probably will get that last bench spot tbh but I’m itching to get a look at what O’Neill can bring. It probably won’t come in to their thinking but if O’Neill doesn’t get selected, he’ll be the only lad not to have got any minutes in these two games.

Shorrocks would offer cover for Powell (albeit not as good as Smith on the bench and Tommy to 9) but would also be able to play in the back row with Isa moving forward so expect him to get the last spot.

Looking forward to this and seeing how far we've really come.

Tomkins, Whare, Yaha, Dudson and McIlorum all named for them. I’m pretty happy with that, we want to test ourselves against sides with no excuses. We’re going to have to be very good to get the win but I think we can do it.

Remember there is one member of the squad unvaccinated. Unless it's Havard or French one regular might miss out.

If unvacinated they are not allowed in France so it is none of the travelling players

thought they just werent allowed in elite french competitions. so could be there but not play
