So just us on here tonight then?
Maybe we could use our idle pre-match time to assemble a difinitive pecking order of fanship?I'm thinking something as follows:
1. True Fan - Attends EVERY game, NEVER Boos', Sings and chants constantly, including half time and any mid-match lavatory visits, claps off the team regardless of pants-down humiliations. Supports fully all club decisions and policies. Doesn't know any Bingo jokes.
2. Ordinary Fan - Misses occasional games by accident (ie getting lost en- route, leaving their season ticket at home etc) or family emergency, Singing and chanting through most passages of play, claps off after wins, draw, narrow losses. Never Boos. May look puzzled at occasional club decisions but will not speak negatively on the subject. Knows one Bingo joke.
3. Fair Weather Fan - May choose not to attend games for unforced reason - exercising free will, dis-illusionment with club decisions etc, only really fancies away trips to nicer places, occasionally boos accidentally when triggered by someone next to them. Offers opinions both positive and negative on a variety of club related issues. Claps off team following wins or creditable performances. Knows several Bingo jokes.
4. Bad Fan - Rattles Uncle Joes around their teeth at matches, regularly leaves their seat prior to match conclusion, boos losses or even mediocre passages of play, raisies only negative issues. Attends Bingo twice weekly.
Any more sub-categories of the above anyone would like to add? We could all then wear colour coded badges to matches accordingly
