Very sad...A young man who achieved so much even after a terrible accident....He was a shining example to us all....

Had the great pleasure of Matt's company several times over the years - at Broncos games but also at his book launch at the RL Presidents Ball in Leeds some years ago. Truly an inspiration. His contribution after just a few tragic minutes as a rugby league player is greater than most of us over many years could dream of. His stoicism and determination were always there for all to see.

RIP Matt, a truly inspirational young man who has been taken too soon. He achieved so much in such a short time. Thoughts with his family

RIP fella.

It would be nice if the club could do something to mark his passing, ideally a bit more than just the black armband and a minutes silence type of thing.
Matt King overcame the enormous difficulties his injury brought, faced them head on and won!
I know we never saw him play for the first team but could he be inducted into the LBSA Hall of Fame?
