Attended one game at the Hive.
Bradford Bulls last ever SL game....92 points in 80 minutes. I hated every second of the experience in the wasteland that The Hive was....bloody awful ground. As for that relegation season, that was 100% down to "our saviour" (as described on wiki) spitting his dummy out after we got spanked by Wigan in the cup. Only a lot of cajoling and a £100,000 bribe to the owner of Barnet even got us to the starting gate that year.
It did prove that being close to a tube station made SFA difference to the crowds, given it was 400 meters from the station. 1,294 average.
I did say 20 years, so pre Brentford I can't comment on, but I suspect 1,294 will look like a decent average once they've completed a full season at Wimbledon.
I'm sorely tempted to edit the wiki page.
Describing David Hughes as our saviour just doesn't sit right. He's butchered every decision he's made since Lenegan walked away. Coaches and CEO's appointed with no background checks. Joey Grima.....Gus, Blanchard.....Towel.....all nightmare appointments and all did serious damage to the club, so no...he's not our "saviour". Just because someone has good intentions doesn't excuse them for absolutely buggering us to the extent that
