Tolson museum rugby heritage exhibition : Thu Feb 27, 2014 6:22 pm
Apologies for new thread but can't find the old. If I search I only get topics from pre 2010! Anyhow I finally got chance to see this yesterday- if you haven't been go!!!
Was in there well over an hour and didn't see/hear it all so will have to go back. Some great memorabilia and interesting recordings/interviews.
Was a bit weird when all of a sudden a familiar voice filled the room and the kids shouted in unison "tansy!" And a recording of his 'dulcet tones' singing one of his songs could be heard!
Very interesting to hear kens views on the 'merger' too.
If you have any interest in rugby league and especially Huddersfield you can't miss this-a massive amount of work has obviously gone into this exhibition - fantastic!
