FARTOWN SUPPORTERS CLUB GUTTED IN FIRE : Fri Jun 12, 2009 9:40 am  

I see from the Front page of the Examiner that The Old Supporters Club at fartown was Gutted in a fire last night. No doubt someone will put a link on here.

St Joes training was cancelled.

Nice piccie of their players infront of the burning building on an other site which I am not allowed to mention. (cannot post photo here as it's AUPable.)

Awful news - got some great memories of that place from my early days watching Fartown, a real shame its gone

The Council were due to drop it in April when the new financial year started - looks like the muppets that have been hanging around there have done it for them
We were looking at taking it on and refurbishing it for St Joes Sharks but the Council had condemned it after the first fire.

Hopefully we can kick on and raise some funds for a replacement now, we desperately need some more changing rooms for the teams that are playing out of there.
