...after the position we were in at the end of last season I would never have expected us to reach 2 semi finals, the quarter final of the challenge cup and finish 2nd in the league. I think we would all have taken that before the season started. Next season can't come soon enough. Well done lads.

Agreed, great season. And tonight Trevor promised me that we're going to tear up this division next season, so chins up guys, 2013 is going to be a good year!

Couldn't disagree.
A great achievement after what could have happened and the fact we have a lot to look forward to next season is the bit that makes it interesting.
I know the club make mistakes and occasionally get things wrong but on & off the pitch I've got more confidence in us getting more things right than wrong over the coming years the way things are currently set up.
Some good times ahead.

Amazed and delighted with what we have achieved this year. Fantastic stuff from everyone from the board to Rowley to the squad. Slightly dissapointed with the result tonight but can't fault the effort, couldn't have faulted the effort and commitment all season. Which is surely due to good work from Rowls and Jukesy. In terms of recruitment I think we have done a great job for next year. Brierly, Penky etc are EXCITING signings as well as re-signing Beswick, Ridyard and Nico. So much local talent on show, both young and 'experienced'.

I'm as dissapointed with tonight as anyone, and seriously worried about the game as a whole, but from a fans point of view, what a time to be a Leyther!! Local talent of all ages, flair and skill at 1, 6, 7, 9 and 13! Best fans in RL and a team that you KNOW will do you proud on the pitch!

It's gonna be a loooooong off season, but Leyther 'til I die!!!!

as an eagles fans i would like to applaud you on the team you have. i thought that you let us off the hook yesterday and i honestly thought that you were gonna come back and nick it. you have a great team there and i for 1 will put my neck out and say you will win the championship next season . sorry for last night and i hope us fans made the atmosphere electric

What do you know ? Anyway as with most Leythers this morning Charlie is very DOWN but im hoping for a better night tonight , its back to the Promised Land tonight (Blackpool ) after a stint at the Circus , Mrs Caroli and myself , along with members of the Wigan branch of the family , will be having a flutter in the Casino trying to win some cash for Salfordlads Bar Bill .

Ten months ago we had no Team, no money, no prospects and no hope ,so after the season we have had , no one should complain, well done to all concerned we are proud of you
