I would say another 5 or 6 players yet to come , a bit more quality , trust in Derek, we have a few young wingers , but they are decent.

Hi Charlie
We currently have 16 players signed up - that leaves about 8 more to sign based on CC saying squad of 24. I would expect at least 5 or 6 more forwards and 2 or 3 more backs.
We need a specialist full back - unless Jy Hitchcox is earmarked for that role. Olly ashall bott & Adam Quinlan have been mentioned!
We only have Joe Wardle as a recognised centre and he seems to be a little injury prone - so we need some more quality in this position.
We have 5 wingers - which seems a little strange (as at least two will be in the west stand for most games)
We only have two halves - Reynolds & Mellor - I think Ata Hingano has been mentioned!
The next couple of weeks will be very interesting.

Good evening Jboy, I must agree with all your assessments , I hadn’t counted players , but agree with your numbers , I really do think we will be ok next year , things are looking up .

We have a number of dual position players - eg Stone can cover centre as he did in SL, so I expect a FB who can cover 6 plus Ata as a half who can cover 9. I heard a rumour we have a couple of 'stars' to announce with the wow factor - Gelling would be nice....

I think we need decent centres because with young wingers our edges may be defensively vulnerable. Stone as cover would be great, but surely not a 1st choice centre.
Looking forward to the "star" announcements - Gelling would be great.

Yes just seen it on my phone - I thought we had him on a two year deal - 2021 and 2022. I will take him off the list.
He must have a SL opt-out - will Sam Stone be the next to go?
I don't suppose there will be any confirmation from the club.
Doesn't training start next week? We are down to a squad of 15, make that 14 if Sam Stone isn't on board. And no head coach.
It feels like we are behind most teams on recruitment.
Hopefully there are some good signing coming soon!!!
