Very true and it's something that I believe in strongly and would love to see. I am pro community and fans that's why I have made my pledges of personal suport to you and LISA and would like to see once we have finished stabilising, restructuring and giving the club a purpose as a buisness to trade without running deeper and deeper in debt fan ownership in which ever way possible.

In order for fan ownership to ever happen we need to first have a club and I think you are completely overlooking the fact that the new BOD are first and foremost a group of fans who have come together and had to step in as the club was going to the wall probably before now but certainly before the end of the current season.

I wouldn't really wish to bring this into a public arena and it's disappointing I find myself having to do so as you have both my email addresses club and work and also my mobile number and we speak regular yet you have never once mentioned this to me directly to say I find your post strange in a public enviroment to say the least.

I can't comment on agreements or promises made by past BODs to LISA but I have confirmed that LISA will be welcome at BOD meetings and I've asked you to go away talk to Keith and your members etc and decide how you feel LISA can best play it's part in our community club so we can sit down and hold a meeting to agree things moving forward.

Drop me and email text or call if you have any problems that need addressing ASAP.

Leigh Centurions can today confirm that highly rated forward Sam Hopkins has penned a new 12 month deal with the club which will keep him at the Sports Village until the end of 2014.

Paul Rowley, Leigh Coach said;

"I am absolutely delighted that Sam has pledged his future with the club and am looking forward to seeing his meteoric level of progression continue over the next couple of years."

From the Leigh Official Site 20/06/13:
The 23 year old will join the Warriors for the start of pre-season in November when his current contract with the Centurions comes to an end.
