Honestly Fred if you let your dog anywhere within 50ft of my daughter she will steal it and dress it up. Every day she asks where it is.

Your dog needs to get a restraining order on my 2 year old!

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

With regards to the trailer not being finished, am I right in thinking it needs signage/decals?

If this is the case, do we know the costs and wouldn't that be a more worthwhile contribution for us on here than another flag? (Sorry Mr Sale  )

Don't know how you go about sorting a prime location for it but as for manning it, I'm willing to give up the odd Saturday.

So next questions, could we on here raise 50% and could the club get a sponsor, Perhaps in2signs to fund the rest?

It was them that quoted the £ 600 , the main banner has to be a mesh so as to let the wind blow through it

Once you have sorted that problem , then you need to speak to the council , Market [ council again ] ASDA , Sainsburys , Morrisons at Atherton,Hindley to get permission to put the thing on site , then lastly you'll need to speak to me to arrange getting it on site [ it isn't a small vehicle , perhaps something smaller would have been a bit more practical , but then again the original idea was to ' stand out ' ] and removing it

What kind of mesh and size? (if steel) we buy tonnes of the stuff, I'd be surprised if we couldn't get it for a better price than they could and free issue it to them for the decals.

As for the rest, one step at a time.

No idea , but it has to be ' printable ' , it is a very ' fine ' specialist type of stuff

Wonder why it 'has to' let the wind through, why can't it be PVC like HGV trailer curtains, we've just had both sides of our 13.6m x 3m trailer re-curtained, with signage Company name, number etc, plus all the necessary buckles, straps etc for £575

Possibly weight as well as being porous , the top banner would be 7 metres wide and a metre deep , not the easiest thing to lift up on two poles on a windy day
