Cant recall any Aussie winning promotion for us??
Wane would have sorted the poop out.

whoever comes in they have to be prepared for our end of season exodus of players - coaching or managing leigh is a lost cause because players are signed on a whim and when it all goes wrong the exodus begins players only come here for a wage better than anywere else - st sales next year will be low because fans have had enough of this merry go round

I agree season ticket sales will suffer, but I do not think it is entirely down to as you put it "this merry go round", I firmly believe that how the club and Mr Beaumont are seemingly treating those very loyal supporter's with nothing more than what I would term as contempt is nothing less than deplorable.
A very audible statement was made by Mr B in relation to Leigh's future in SL, with the complete absence of anything coming from that meeting with the SL hierarchy I should imagine it has fell on stoney ground, so what happens and where do we go from here, does even Mr B know? And what is going on with Dr Koukash the man made a a passionate offer and desire to join the club and yet again we here nothing at all, the buzz in the north stand the day when the good Doc made his announcement was one of excitement and If someone tells me that did not reverberate all around the ground and into the board room I will not believe them.
Yes I am pi55ed off with it all, has you say Knocker season tickets will suffer and that will be entirely down the club and Mr Beaumont's making, if his passion is waning step aside now and let someone else help us get on with it.

Re: SQUAD FOR 2022 : Tue Sep 28, 2021 3:07 pm
I agree with a lot of the 2 comments above, but the reason Leigh can only attract players looking for 1 last pay day lies solely at the feet of Mr. Rimmer and his decision to only allow the chosen few to run Academies. As long as we are stopped from running an Academy, as are a lot of other heartland teams, we will only attract journeymen. We could only pick over the remnants for this season and then we were given £500K less. Just used as fall guys. Rugby League will die a slow death with Rimmer at the helm. It is time for someone with all Rugby League at heart to take over. I'm sick of the self-interested chairmen and suits who draw large salaries and are running our game into the ground. Well, so long as the game is doing well in France I suppose the heartland clubs can go to the wall.

I understand people being discontented but I believe today’s announcement shows that Derek is far from waning in his passion and desire to get Leigh into the upper end of what ever RL looks like in 2-4 year time.
Re the Dr scenario, I too would like an update, but also trust that it is not just a simple matter of yes or no, hence the wait.

Yeah , I knew about Flower , should have gone months ago , maybe should never have signed for us .I’m hoping for some positive news on the squad in the near future .

That goes without saying Charlie, the sooner the better and we fans certainly need some good news, tell me the last time we had some?
