Well it seems like Leeto it is, again is this another PR Stunt by our very own Alistair Campbell ? It’s certainly got people talking about how the name was derived.

Exactly Mick I 100% agree, for me it could be lee3 or lee4 or even Boris , I’m ,not bothered it’s the same with the kit design and leopards den pub , what matters for me is the team on the pitch , we have a quality squad competing in SL , I’d prefer that to playing in front of a few hundred in the 1st division ,with average players and even paying 15 quid to get in , yeah the entrance price has gone up , but it’s not that bad , if ya don’t like the kit ,then DONT buy it , let’s get behind the lads .
Again I’ve never heard of Scouting forGirls but so what, I will be there for the Salford game .

Also agreed. When was a mascot aimed at us more senior fans. The mascot is all about the younger fans and Leeto is named by by one of them. In an earlier post I didn’t give our younger Leythers enough credit. I said if left up to them it would end up being Leo or Lenny, wrong !
A young fan came up with a name that speaks to our club and town name (LEEto), is actually a name with South African heritage the home of the Leopard, and means/speaks to our new adventure as a rebranded club aiming for a stable top flight future within the IMG restructure.
Get a grip adults. It’s a cool name, that was brilliantly thought out, by a fan that is the future of our club. My hat is off to the young lady

dont object to any rebrand though if you think img would recommend us for a franchise your kidding yourself just the tin pot way we have gone about it
silly name crap kit no website emails you have to read 10 times to make any sense of or not re closure of gates negative hardly just reasonable expectations
