Tony Smith was on Radio Manchester last night and spoke highly of him. No doubt he'll do us proud if he gets his chance.

He is a great rugby league player.



I have one criticism though.



Last season after the Toulouse game he arrived at the Melting Pot on the Saturday night and after a few minutes he lit a cigarette. I had given up smoking on May 22 but had lost my plastic cig so I asked him for a drag.



It was menthol

Disgusting.





Like all Leythers I want him to represent our country soon.

Hope he goes well, he'll definitely get plenty of gametime this season.



Think he'll make a hell of an impact in SL. Certainly a bigger one that Jamie Ellis in my opinion.

Both can play for our country

If he gets the nod and performs as we expect him to, that will have a knock-on effect on our finances!!



His family will have to choose where to go next Sunday afternoon, which could knock half a dozen off our gate!!!
