If we lise Clarke and King plus cap space for TM would that be enough for us to get Luke Thompson?
I know we have alot of forwards atm but would it be maybe a chance for Ben Currie to play at 4and Wrench at 3?

Wouldn't want Luke Thompson if he was playing for peanuts. Vastly overrated and now injury prone. I keep banging on about Dupree but I'd much prefer him to Thompson and he'd be a lot cheaper.

I wouldn't say we need him to be honest, and his wage would be Huge. He also wants to stay in Australia, so we'd have to throw stupid money at him.

King's full salary is excluded from our salary cap as he is on loan, he's on Wigan's cap, I guess at the loan rate they are paying , rather than the full value we are paying.

If we are losing Clark (who WG suggest is a marquee), then we could bring in Thompson with no salary cap issues - though would cost the club a lot of money of course.

Given his recent injury issues it would be a risk.

He's only played 38 NRL games in the near 3 years he's been at Canterbury.

Definitely wouldn't be moving heaven and earth to try and get him.

There was a request actioned to have one recruitment thread whether that stretches to rumours or wish lists I'll leave that with you for the time being.
