The draw for the semi-finals of the 2021 Betfred Challenge Cup was made at half time during the fourth quarter final at Headingley, with the balls being pulled out of the bag by Leeds Rhinos legend Jamie Peacock.

| Powell or bogey team.
Then if we win, revenge mission for St Helens for 2019 or us for 2016.

| No easy path with the teams left in, glad we've avoided Salford.

| That's the best draw we could have got but I think Cas will be thinking the same. Glad we avoided saints anyway, shudder to think of getting them in the final again. Despite the 2019 Cup win against them they're the team I really don't like losing to because of that long losing streak against them, defeat to them just brings it all flooding back. Still we can start to worry about that if it happens.

We haven't lost a knockout game to saints for over 10 years. Let them worry about us, it's obviously a hoodoo!!

| Really enjoyed the Cas Salford game, great drama and entertainment and a welcome antidote to the Wires game.
Which brings me to Henderson's stint as co-commentator. How good was he? Knowledgeable, infectious, eloquent and passionate ....... he should take up coaching.

| Not really a weak team at this point. I suppose I was happy we avoided saints. I thought to myself wire fans will be happy with cas or Salford, but Salford beat you in semis last year and we beat you in the playoffs year before and I dunno how you feel about Cas, you'll start marginal favourites but it's a coin toss game, same with hull in the equation .

| I didn’t care who we got, but I bet Saints wanted to avoid Wire.

| It will be interesting to see what venue the RFL goes with.
I guess there will be a restricted support numbers but would need to be a big enough venue to hold supporters of 4 SL teams plus the women's CC final.
This could be the first time in years that a season ticket is an advantage in getting tickets to a big game.
It will be interesting to see how the RFL and the club goes about ticket sales.

My guess is Headingley again.

| Wonder who at the RFL decided to host a triple header and severely dilute each teams ticket allocation in the process?
The maximum we’ll be able to get in for it is 10,000 and that’s if it were at somewhere like Anfield or the Etihad. Most probably it’ll be at Bolton again, where we’ll only get 4,000 or 25% of capacity in at most.
Surely taking that into account playing it at separate venues or over two days would’ve been better, therefore giving more fans the chance to attend?
Each team will be lucky to get 1,000 tickets because of the triple header decision. Terrible move.

Capacity limits are based on the lower of 25% or 10,000 of seating capacity only, so Headingley would not be a good choice.
Huddersfield would be the logical choice as its central to all teams and all seater, but would only mean a capacity of c6,000.
We could get a max 10,000 if they held it at Elland Road, Eitihad etc
Sensible decision would have been to hold both semi finals across two days, with Women’s game on the Saturday semi final.
No doubt logic won’t apply with the RFL and they’ll hold the games at York or Leigh and celebrate a packed house of 2,000 fans.
