The timing is very much in the player's favour in this case. He's still young and he's in form whilst, at the same time, SL is not overflowing with quality centres. He'll never have a better chance to secure a big deal. About the only thing going against him is the fact that clubs are feeling the pinch due to the pandemic.

Interesting one. You seem to have lots of views on the club management; so out of interest how much per year would you offer King for a three year deal?

Not even thought about it but I wouldn’t be letting him leave on a free to a rival though in the same season we potentially lose Clark. He’s the best centre in the league.

I think Austin's marquee spot is the carrot in the Daryl Clark deal, if it comes off.

King is currently the best centre in SL (on form) and a top prospect. Marquee salary player though? Not a chance. Don't want to lose him but I've got confidence in Powell finding a decent enough replacement.

That guy Bosman might have something to say about that view.

You don't want to lose him so how much are you willing to pay to keep him? I'd be I interested on your view seems as you are a repetitive and heavy critic of the club's recruitment.

I mean every fair Warrington fan has been a critic of the club’s recruitment, not just me. Apart from your good self of course.

I don’t know who is getting paid what and how much cap space we have etc so I have no idea.

We should be doing everything we can to keep King, he’s in some serious form at the minute and it would be disappointing to lose him along with Clark.
