With absolutely no disrespect to a legend of the game who has been one of our best ever signings this has to be his last season with us. The long term injuries seem to be coming one after the other and I do wonder whether he should be getting in the way of giving Currie, Laithwaite etc. a game when he hasn't managed to have a decent run of games in a fair while. If he decided to continue his playing career elsewhere then I'd wish him the best of luck as he owes us absolutely nothing but if not I would love to have him on our backroom staff. His influence as a model pro on the likes of Currie etc would be huge.
