I don't think he has developed into the player many thought he might. I wasn't very impressed with him much the last 2 seasons.

Maybe he needed a change to club to freshen his game up a bit... time will tell... I'm not bothered in the slightest that we haven't signed him though.

A real shame as I rate him highly. However, you can't have every player you want. I do hope he fulfils his potential as O'Loughlin needs some pressure on that 13 shirt for England.

Potential is the word here. A couple of years ago I thought he was going to be sensational. He hasn't quite lived up to the potential yet but he's still young. A very good signing for Hull and interesting that they've got that kind of cash to throw around.

I'm quite happy with Harrison at 13.....for now.

not true, considering hull are of thought to have broken their transfer record which stands at 250k for alan hunte from saints a few years back now! and it has been announced, today, hence the thread

No they haven't, it says one of the biggest. Then goes on to say the biggest was 250k. I can't imagine they've paid many transfer fees over £100k before so I'd imagine the rumours of around £150k are about right, Cas have still got an incredibly good deal though.

I know a guy who sits on the Cas board, Warrington & Hull were in for him and Hull got him for £175k fact

Things change though, Hull going in for Westerman now rather than waiting for his contract to run out may have forced his hand.
