Can anybody tell me how Wigan manage to get away with MF's on field coaching during play & is it something peculiar to games against us or do Wigan do the same to all their opponents?

Wigan have a few rules peculiar to them, holding down is another... as was noted by the irony in Tony Smiths reaction to the penalty that was given half way through the second half

He does it every game, whoever they are playing. He even picked the ball up on one occasion on Friday!

it's a pet hate at wakey forshaw being able to do what he wants on the field, this needs stopping but no other coach is going to complain,
I only hope he gets in the way of a play one day

This one comes up every now and then. Gary Mercer used to do it at Cas and now its Forshaw. Has anybody actually noticed any benefit that the teams are getting from having them on the field? Its not like Wayne Bennett or Craig Bellamy running behind the plays is it....Forshaw used to be there at Warrington and we never achieved anything.

Maybe we're missing out on an edge. Jimmy Lowes should be running behind play that could take us over the line in those close games where we run out of steam in the final quarter.

I don't remember Forshaw really making THAT much difference to us, even when he was allowed to pick the ball up and run with it. Why should his presence make that much difference to wigan!

Think it was last weekend that Brisbane were on Setanta and Alfie seemed to spend a lot of time carrying water. Now there's a Water Carrier that could make a difference!
