I think its fair to say that in all the positions he has been tried in during his time with Wire, then his present one seems to be his most suited.
Whether this is a permanant thing, or just the result of being in a side that is performing well, is clearly another matter, but at the moment he has that little something special with ball in hand, that can separate good centres from an average centre.
Don't want to appear like I'm going over the top, but with his little step, passing skills, and that burst of speed over the first 10 yards, Bridge could, in time, develop into a Jonathan Davies-type centre....Just remember, Davies, on first entering our code as a Union stand off, took various attempts in various positions, before becoming a top class centre....Bridge, similarly, may finally have discovered his true position.
