How the young lad who got a metal rod through his head whilst training for Rylands (? I think it was) is getting on. I remember his dad saying he would have to have a year out from the game but he was determined to come back better.

Not heard anything in local press since the accident was reported.

Made a full recovery and is back playing the game.

He will be taking part in the NWC Cup Final this weekend and the National Cup Final the weekend after
