A couple of stupid penalties (can't remember if they lead to tries - I think one did), but very very good going forward and did a good bit of tackling too.
Both him and Higham have been sound buys I think.

He played well. He was your main go forward, pity he is a raving lunatic who tries to kill everyone.

Carvell was excellent tonight. I suppose like the rest of the team, you could say he was fantastic for 50 minutes then not so good for the last 30, but I thought his go forward in the first half especially was immense. He'll be a real asset to us.

Carvell was excellent. Played very well. If we can sort the backs ou, then we would be okay. None of the forwards deserve stick.
