I get the King relationship with Wire fans, he has been up and down with you guys but it’s safe to say we’ll be sad to see him go. I looked through the try and assist stats the other day for centres and I couldn’t find many with a better output than King this season. I think him and Wardle were on 8 try’s and 8 assists each and the only player I could see with a better combined output than that was Adam Keighran with 8 try’s and 10 assists.
Superleague isn’t littered with good centres tbh but if you guys can get one of the better ones, for 50k a year on the cap, it’s a no brainer. I also am warming rapidly to Sam Burgess being a good appointment and I think he will have the players totally committed and motivated. That is something that will benefit King more than most.
