Rob Myler's son as well if you want a Warrington link. A product of Widnes' youth system but when they went bust he was desperate to remain full-time and Salford were the only club to give him the opportunity.

I don't think missing out on him at the time for wages that were probably a pittance went down too well and could well have caused the club to look at its "recruitment" network/policy. Its probably has lead us to since then signing any lad turning 16 whose dad use to play:

Josh Cullen, Bobby Goulding, Keith Holden, Liam Hulme, Ryan Shaw(stretching it a bit with the last one)
