Well why don't you wait until Wire do go there? It will be much enjoyable than Sts and whoever ?

Eh? How do you work that out then? What if Wire get to the CC Final and then get beat 40-0 or something like that. Would you enjoy that?

I went to the CC Finals in '05, '06, '07 and I'm going in '09 and I've enjoyed it every time I've been! I only missed out in '08 as I was doing Best Man duties. It's a fantastic weekend out, mingling with other RL fans, it's a great craic!

I was gonna go to Old Trafford this year but was persuaded not to as I wouldn't enjoy it as much as if it was Wire there.

See above. Been to all the GF's since 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed all of them, desipte the lack of Wire appearances.

Whenever Warrington do go to a CCF or a GF, it will be a fantastic added bonus to what will be a hugely enjoyable day/weekend.

There were about 15000-17000 last time and about 25000-30000 Pies but all you could hear 10 mins before the final whistle and half an hour after was Wire fans,(taped it and watched it when home and remember Ray French saying "Just listen to those Wigan fans singing, and it was us. The man can`t see the obvious when he`s staring at it) in fact a lot of Pies didn`t even stay to watch their own team lift the cup.

You`d never catch me singing that vile rendition of beautiful old song. Maybe `If you know your history`

The canny Wolfs have already bought their tickets. And a wise move too with each club's allocation only being 15,000. In the event of a Wire appearance under the famous Arch demand for tickets will be astronomical.
People still euolgise about the 1990 final and old timers go into rhapsodies about 1974, when over 40,000 travelled down to support the Wire.

been to watch utd recently at the new wembley which offers the supporter a much better and more comfortable view, went to the 1990 final at the old stadium, great day,bad result.
would love to go this year.
just been out to watch utd tonight and the conversation changed to the challenge cup.
if we get there our itinery is travel down on friday morning, beer monopoly around london, evening in soho at a very reputable gentlemens club we know.retire to hotel around midnight.large english, beer monopoly around north london, match.the three s's and another night of debauchery.
i sincerely hope this is our year and at the moment i think it could be.

Ah what a nice positive thread, better than all that messy business about Mr Briers.

IF we get their it will be great, i reckon we could get around 18,000ish fans.
And i wouldn't give a pooh where we ended up in the league if we did make the trip to weeemberrleey.
