Exactly. A point I've tried to get through to the thickheads on here many a time, but have given up. Look at Manly, now exposed as big drinkers and they are World Champions! Imagine if Warrington players at the season launch got drunk, punched a sponsor and assaulted a teenage girl!!! Fans would implode with rage.
I know our players like a drink* - but then so do most RL players. I just don't agree it's the reason we underachieve.
*that said, many of our players went teetotal during pre-season training
