Reading the backstory in the NRL, Jackson Hastings sounds like a total utter nightmare.
He's only 22 and already been released by 2 clubs because of 'falling out with senior players'.
At Manly it seems like they had issues with him all through the pre season and tried to manage his attitude and then once the season started it all boiled over and the Manly squad wanted him out.
Now apparently his reputation is too toxic so no NRL club would go near him. I'm surprised there were a few SL clubs chasing him...is he an elite, once in a generation, Thurston-style talent who just happens to have attitude issues?
Or is he just one of many half-decent players coming through the ranks in Aus and clubs have said, nah, we can easily get the same or better standard as him, but without the baggage...
