I like drinkwater, he has the organisational and kicking skills which we are lacking so he would be a good signing IMO.

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

NB given my previous pet poodle I confirm the “bold” was by me and for emphasis only (my lawyer said I had to write this)

interestingly i was reading on the wakey forum this week, he was signed to play hooker and refused when he got here, some grumbles from the wakey fans about him not playing like a controlling 7, which is probably right, he's reminded me of a nathan wood a-like

I’ve not seen anything from Lino that looks like a controlling half. He’s got a few key skills, but I’d put him more in the Albert Kelly mould than a classic organiser. But then I’ve only seen him in the TV games, not every week.

Been floating around for a while that one. Seems like he's the backup option if we cannot get anyone else.

Exactly 108 games over 7 seasons. He was given many, many opportunities. He's now at Bradford, a mid to lower level Championship side.

I really don't think he was a diamond in the rough given insufficient chances.

If Patton had come through at Saints, does anybody really think he would have been given more chances by them than he was with us? Would they have played him ahead of Danny Richardson? Theo Fages?

Ah the good old Warrington back up option.....maybe that's why we play so much attractive rugby & win all the time?

As has been mentioned before, why is our transfer business all performed in this apparently last minute way? Scrabbling around Northern and Southern hemispheres for a scrum half a couple of months before pre-season starts. Let's just hope Moran speaks to an agent again and unearths another Johns rabbit out of the bag.
