He is capable of doing those big minutes though - he certainly did at Salford. I think Currie & BMM starting back row with Hughes at 13 could work well. Leaving Philbin, Clark, Sita/Tasi plus ANO on the bench. Hughes for all his virtues doesn't quite have the attacking threat for me of a top SL back rower.
I'd agree though, we do need another big bopper in the middle to come off the bench. Teams generally start with their best two props on the field however, so keeping one of Hill or Cooper on the bench to start could hand the opposition an early advantage?
