yes there is he can take anything he wants it still dosnt make him British. He was not born here, He has no parents / Grandparents who are british. What is the point in having homegrown players rule to help the national team if your going to have foriegn players in the team

technically faasavalu is home grown since he has never played rugby league anywhere else

British or homegrown?

Hypothetical examples...

Boy born today in Samoa. His parents (Samoan) move to the UK next month. They move to Orford. He goes to Beamont (infants, juniors and high school). Joins Rylands RL team. Joins the scholarship. Wire sign him up for the academy. Gets into the reserves. Then Super League squad. England coach calls him up for the national squad.

and

Boy born today in Orford. His parents (British) move to Australia next month. He goes to school in Sydney. Joins local amateur RL team. Joins the scholarship. Roosters sign him up for the academy. Gets into the reserves. Then NRL squad. England coach calls him up for the national squad.

Which one is most eligible for England?

qualification for city/country and nsw/qld goes on where a player played his first junior rugby league not on where they were born...don't know if it's the same for international honours but in the case of faasavalu his first rugby league was england (i think) so in my book he should be in
