I wouldn't say all was revealed....there's an interview with Monaghan on the site but nowhere in the interview was he asked about the stories of him going home.

Seemed like he was giving Gary standard professional player answers which any member of the squad would, but he didn't look particularly enthusiastic about the situation. He probably wants out but knows nobody can afford to pick his contract up.

TS has got a big task on his hands with Monaghan but he's not the type to be intimidated by players. When he took over at Leeds, Gary Connolly and Matt Adamson were two big players in the dressing room and had been good performers in 2003, but Smith gradually froze them out when he decided they weren't going to take his team forwards.

Lets face it there have been stories surrounding several players not being happy and wanting to go home - Mona's was honest enough to say he has struggled to settle in with the different lifestyle but he seems prepared to roll up his sleeves and get on with the job in hand.
