Got to say, this has Gary Chambers written all over the loan signings.

I think it’s taking into consideration the player welfare as well as club finances.

I approve of this set up.

It was an eye opener hearing from Sam Burgess that Bullock has something amiss in his game.
Now it clarifies that it isn’t particularly fitness and definitely not injury.

I also approve of realisation and honestly if a player isn’t up to it. The player must be accountable for his attitude and application.

Big Sam isn’t afraid to drop a player if he ain’t giving his best or they are second best. That is a winning formula.

If Sam can unlock Bullock's inner beast then there's a player in there I think.....but then again he'll probably never play for us again.

I know these loan deals are sensible of a fashion, but is assisting potential top 6 rivals with squad issues wise?

Made that point yesterday when Dwyer`s loan was announced.

Can`t imagine our dual registration clubs Widnes and North Wales Crusaders are very happy either when they see players being loaned-out to our rival Super League clubs when they expected them to play was dual reg. for them.

No it isn't. We got ourselves into a ridiculous position last year where we had a second row (Longstaff) and halfback (Dean) out on loan, at a time we were having to play players out of position to fill those gaps.

With red cards and bans being handed out all over the shop, we shouldn't be loaning or releasing anybody unless we have replacements coming in.

Player welfare ranks way higher than a clubs top 6 aspirations.
And let’s be honest, if the loan deals are successful, and their donor clubs get a result, I’m pretty sure it will help our top 6 push. I don’t see Hull or even Leigh making top 6.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

We definitely left ourselves a bit thin on the ground last year & I agree that with injuries and suspensions you could easily lose 3 players. If these "loaned" players can return immediately then it is OK but otherwise it could potentially bite you in the bottom.

In 2 weeks Leigh play Hull, the deal really doesn’t impact upon us.
It will benefit us if Dwyer helps Leigh beat Leeds at the weekend.

It’s a win win deal for Wire…
If carlsberg made loan deals!!

Unless we can’t beat Cas!

Why does it matter to us if Leigh beat Leeds? Arent both of those teams in the same category as us, i.e. unlikely to be champions but aiming for the playoffs?

I really hope we are not trying to play 4D chess but are actually just making space for some new signings of our own.

And if anyone has objectively concluded that Dudson is a better player to have in the squad than Bullock, I am giving up.
