That game should have been replayed, if they are citing player welfare, well what about how we only have a 5 day turnaround from playing Salford to then playing Saints while they get a week.

Did they though? All the previous times this has happened, they have replayed the game in full. Leigh took full advantage and made immediate subs so effectively got their best players playing the entire game.

It sets such a dangerous precedent too. You're 18-12 up against us after 55 minutes next week. Vaughan is fatigued, Dufty has cramp, we're on top and about to go right over you to win. Turn the lights off and finish it on Sunday

If they're going to go away from replaying the game in full, the decision has to be with the away side. That is the only way to be fair here.

Replaying the game in full gives exactly the same risks. We are 24-0 down after 55 minutes. Turn the lights off and replay the game from scratch on Sunday.

Except in real life most people aren't really that callous, not even Saints.

Would have been interesting if a player from Leigh or Hudds had picked up a ban from the partial game. Would they be eligible for the completion game or would that completion game count towards their ban..
