And if you are only accepting pro monarchy comments on the thread then you should tag the thread title as such so that posters will be aware of it.
Where have I said I was only accepting pro monarchy comments? I think you may have over reached here if you are trying to register that I'm trying to skew debate or fathom out whether I'm a monarchist or not, and btw whether you or anyone else is or not really isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned.. .
What I found unsatisfactory with some earlier posts, was that they seemed to be going off topic, the proposition is how will the RUGBY LEAGUE season be affected by events and as above it really isn't a pro or anti monarchy issue.
If you or AN Other want the season to carry as normal fine, I don't mind at all, it's about opinions BUT what I find hard to countenance is turning the thread into a social debate whether that's "there's always one" comment or (paraphrasing) how can the Royals be supported in a country with such inequality?
You will note that no posts have been deleted and my original prompt for 'restraint' wasn't targeted at any one or any view but thanks for your advice.
Genuine question, but what does cancelling sporting and other leisure events achieve during this time, apart from force people to be miserable by having their one release from a mundane work life taken from them?
Now, if people were off work during this time, then I could understand it a lot more, but asking people to continue their everyday grind, while removing their small pleasures in life, just smacks of state imposed sanctions and reeks badly of social elitism.

Where did I say you said it? Actions speak louder than words, and it was your actions that led me to my conclusion. Regarding your overreach assertion please be assured I don’t care who you are, where you go, what you did as long as you love me
The point is you chose to select a post with negative monarchy sentiment and advised the poster to take their monarchy opinions and world views off to the sin bin, whilst at the same time ignoring several posts spinning positive monarchy sentiment and not telling those posters to clear off to the sin bin with their monarchy opinions and world views
It’s about balance.
And yes, the post that violates the AUP, containing the uncalled for personal attack on a poster giving an honest comment has not been removed
And my advice is as FOC to your good self as it is to the Forum Owner, fair is fair
Superblue if you or anyone else has a problem the moderation on here and specifically mine on this topic please feel free to contact the "site owner".
The post that I selected and suggested should be "taken" to the Sin Bin as opposed to "clear off" (which I think is provocative), did not mention Rugby League or the time pressure that might have been in place on the sport should say the funeral clash with a semi final nothing more nothing less.
I'll leave it there with you as I don't understand much of what you are trying to say and look forward discussing it further with the "site owner" should you feel the need

Haven't various sports made their own decisions on whether to postpone or not? Can't see any state imposed sanctions.

Uncle Rico, there you go again, where did I say I would report you to the site owner?, and are you sure you should be directing posters with complaints to the “site owner”, or have you just made that up to
And I’m quite familiar with the complaint procedures thank you, so don’t require your blessing regards such instances
And I do feel you are being a tad disingenuous when you say you merely “suggested” a poster took their mildly anti monarchy post to the sin bin, your tone was unnecessary with a very clear “take it” comment
Your actions tell the story, maybe a hint of a guilty conscience?
