Must admit I can't ever remember it being allowed at the KC, certainly not last year as has been suggested.
I asked the question on the Hull board and they seem to think you've never been allowed to:
Also an absolute scandal that they charge (and it seems possibly 30p extra which is taking the Michael) more to away fans. I think this is true for the food as well as the beer.
Either way going back to teh original post the beer was truly disgusting whatever teh price and wherever you were drinking it.

And as for the Hull/Wigan argument - you have never been able to at Hull but still can at Wigan (or could as of Maundy Thursday unless its changed since!)
