I don't look to other clubs to gauge how much I should enjoy being a Warrington fan some of you should try it..... I think you'll find Wigan won a lot of trophies prior to the 80's and 90's. eh rouges,

just had a look through your honors and records year 1992,
in one game offiah and then edwards got 10 tries in a single game,

10 tries that does take some doing........

mark forster did it for wire over a period of 6 months...

Incidentally When I met Mrs le Forge (a Wigan fan), one of her songs was she wore a Cherry Ribbon!!

Wigan... the Manu of RL- no songs of their own so stoop to singing someone elses ( eg Blaydon Races)

Most of those aren't old enough, or intelligent enough to realise who they played in a lot of the finals in the 80's and 90's.

I agree we have a fine history - I'm a Wire fan afterall. It's just that I can recognise teams who have achieved more both historically and recently.

Whichever way you want to cut it, Wigan are the most famous club in English RL. Just as Manchester United are the most famous football club.
