Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

That's what they said about Leeds.

No club is too big to go down

Not at all, their players are poop. Never won anything, and not too long ago were playing in the second division in front of about 12,000 fans.

Boro will go down as well, and with Sunderland and Hull likely to follow them next season, they may as well give up playing football in Yorkshire and the North East.

I know yeah, but Newcastle are Newcastle. It'll be weird if they go down. When you consider that they have some of the best fans in the league, who stick by them through thick and thin, i hope for their sake that Newcastle survive.

Same with Leeds, maybe even Man Utd when they went down.

Newcastle are the biggest underachievers in wendyball in the last 15 years or so.

Its like Life Of Brian with that lot.

Wish they'd make up their minds who the Messiah actually is. First its 'King Kev', then its Sir Bobby, Keegan again, and now its 'Wor Shearer'.

'Toon'- Cartoon more like.

Newcastle United FC is the 16th largest club in world football (according to BBC Sport). Very different from LUFC. But still if they deserve to go down, so be it.

Yes Newcastle have won plenty.
Newcastle haven't had 12000 on for a long long time if ever
Newcastle currently get plenty more than Liverpool even in our darkest hour.
