Clarke was the 1 player who stood out for the wrong reasons he was poor !

I'm afraid youre currently in the minority - because I also think Clarke had a good game yesterday.

Like Mathers & Blythe & Mitchell & Cooper and evryone else, he'll have to wait his chance. He's had one, did well. He'll be in credit in Smiths eyes for that, he was called upon late and let nobody down, as haven't Blythe & Mitchell and they find themselves out of the 17.

Vinnie Anderson found himself out of the starting side, low and behold he has a very good game. The players are learning, it's selection via merit, and should you not mee these high standards, there's half a dozen youngry, talented young lads snapping at you're heels for a game.

Thats right they will have to wait their turns to get back in the squad. I think Mathers may get his turn at the weekend now Briers looks doubtful.

Matty Blythe is off the radar at the moment, seems like he has lost his way and needs to calm down and get his focus back.

Mitchell and Copper aint let anyone down as far as I am aware, but are behind in the pecking order.

Last time Blythe played, was it against Castleford at home ? He was pretty good.

Smith gets his most experienced side on the field I think where possible, and these lads come in when there's an injury, and keep everybody on their toes. I don't think it's a case of anyone 'doing anything wrong', I think they just come in, as Mitchell, Penny, Cooper & Blythe have all done, roll their sleeves up, come off, Smith ruffles their hair, says well done, and they are told their time will come.

More of a drip feed into the first team rather than having a bucket of water tipped over them.
