It was. He put the player on his ar$e and then finished on top of him (as 2nd player) to complete the tackle.

There is no set criteria for certain technique for a tackle to be a tackle.

And a hand on Hall whilst he is on floor isnt a great tackle. Great hit by Morley i would accept.

It will go down on his tackle stats. The reason he is on the floor is because of the hit which is part of the tackle.

It's a tackle.

On a similar note, the bloke sat in front of me was saying that Morley was lucky to be penalised as he didn;t attempt to use his arms to tackle, despite this not being a rule in RL at all. This is a RU rule.

Not being funny but its not hard to smash someone like that when they've just caught the ball and are standing still. It was a good hit though.
