Great game..makes a change to have a final that doesn't involve the likes f saints and Wigan..dare we dream and hope the grand final is the same no saints or wigan

Depending on the results from the scans today, I think it's pretty likely Saints won't be in the Grand Final (It possibly was anyway, we're just not at it this year). One thought to be definitely out for at least the season and three more with potentially long term problems. All forwards too.

Saints will be fine. Very rare that Saints lose 3 games on the spin so I would expect a win against Leeds this week.
As long as Roby stays fit you will always have a chance of winning the GF. Without Roby saints just look a team lacking a bit of direction and composure.
It will be interesting to see how Mbye fits in.
You also have a free weekend to play your game in hand now.

The next few weeks should go a long way to see how the top 6 shapes up. I would be surprised if either of the challenge cup finalists win more than 1 of the next 3 league games and the team that lifts the challenge cup will be season over. By the bank holiday the league will have a more familiar look to it.

Catalan, Wigan and Saints at the top with the us, Leigh, Salford, Leeds and Hull FC fighting it out for the last 3 spots.

I was surprised Peet didn't stick Ngetse (sp) on the bench instead of 18th man.

Should be good for the game to have 2 fresh teams at Wembley & let's hope their supporters turn up in droves.

Let's hope they don't run on the pitch at Wembley. We had a few excitable bodies on the pitch at finale of both semis ... it looked relatively minor but not to be encouraged.

Think some of the fans that ran on our pitch ran more than some of our team have in recent games.

I take it that you haven't been to Wembley for a while, as it would take a winner from Ninja Warrior to get on the hallowed turf these days.

If Walmsley is out for a period thats a far greater blow than Roby being out. Roby is still pretty good but he is no different in that he needs a dominant pack - Walmsley provides the bulk of that, and when he goes off LMS and Paasi do. Without them Saints will struggle to dominate.

The worry is Paasi is long term with ACL and MCL ruptures. (Hopefully not as bad as it seems) Walmsley has an MCL injury, LMS has serious soft tissue damage (Whatever that is). Knowles is on crutches and having scans, Sironen had a setback to his hamstring injury and Mata'utia is banned for two games. So Paasi, Walmsley, LMS, Sironen and Knowles rumoured to be out for Leeds with Mata'utia banned. I think they'll gleefully demolish us if that's the case. A pack of Norman, Roby, Lees, Royle, Delaney and Bell isn't going to scare many over the next few games if it is that bad. And I shudder to think what the bench would be like.

It's turning into just one of those years with regards to injuries. Added to our glaring deficiencies in attack and our work experience head coach, it's not going to be our year. Maybe a Leigh double is on the cards, not sure we'd ever get Derek Beaumont back off the ceiling.

Perhaps a stroke of luck you won't be at Wembley then.

It’s general bank holiday weekends that get maintenance track work.
