Was a great game to watch, St Helens are the rugby league equivalent of German football. Not the most fun to watch but grind out a result, apart from today which they should have won I doubt you'll never see Makinson miss two kicks like that again in the same game.

I like probably most in here was interested in how our old boys played and honestly with the possible exception of Mulhern for Dudson I wouldn't swap back. I actually thought the best Warrington old boy out there was Gaz O'brien I thought he had an assured game at full back.

Whilst I don't particularly want Leighs players I'd love their determination and in it together mentality.

I see a Wigan Leigh final I even thought this before today's game and I'd love to see Leigh pull it off.

For sure I wouldn't be reading internet forums, and I don't believe for one minute that the players do, either. As the old saying goes, if you start to believe what the fans think, then you'll end up being sat with them.

For my money ,Gaz O'Brien has done a good job at which ever club he has played.
Leigh did very well to win that yesterday considering most of the match was played in their half. I am still mystified at the ref pulling Saints for a forward pass then Saints had the feed at the scrum.
Good old slogfest cup tie rugby that was ,thanks to both teams & well done to Leigh.
